"AMCO" 'TRIM SEAL' Butterfly valves is designed with bonded resilient
seat of homogenous design with the unique dovetail retention design
both of which provide dimensional stability and greater holding power
for positive seat retention under flow conditions and obtaining exten-
ded service life. The Fully Encapsulated Trim Seal Butterfly valve design completely isolates body from the flowing media, thus eliminating the use of expensive body materials. Extended neck allows for adequate clearance of piping insulation and provide room for access to actuator moounting studs. Self adjustiong shaft seal of Trim Seal Butterfly valve is incorporated to prevent ingress of foreign material with the body shaft bore. The . double 'U' cup design allows positive sealing in both directions and acts as a secondary shaft seal in emergency situations, while the Primary seal which is pre-loaded self compensating, synergistic primary seal, completely isolates the shaft from the flowing media and provides positive sealing at all angles of opening. An essential feature of the Butterfly Valve, the shaft busing absorbs side loads applied to the disc by the flowing media and for eccentrically mounted actuators. "AMCO" 'TRIM SEAL" is manintenance free - 'Fit it and Forget it', Mount it any position for flow in either direction. |
